As an executive protection trainer, accompanied by his expertise in hand-to-hand defensive tactics, he is well versed in small arms tactics, techniques and equipment. A CQT instructor in advanced handgun and hand-to-hand techniques, he is passionate about developing his students’ skills in real-world environments and scenarios.
Carl's career spans 30 years within the Military, including Special Operations and Tactical Law Enforcement in Global Operations & Training with a special focus on Counter-Terrorism procedures, operations and training. His training includes VIP Close Protection, intelligence gathering & analysis. He is also a firearms instructor, handling advanced pistol and carbine.
An Active Law Enforcement Officer for over 15 years, Jim has extensive law enforcement and US Military Special Operations experience.
Joseph (affectionately known as “Little Joe”) began his career in 1977 as a Protection Officer with the Federal Reserve Bank in Detroit. He spent six years as a Deputy Sheriff (Corrections Division) with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department. He has been a Police Officer since 1985 in an officer agency bordering Detroit, with extensive experience as a Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Directed Patrol Unit Member, Department Training Officer, SERT Team Leader/Operator, Detective (Narcotics/Vice/Surveillance) and Background Investigator. "Little Joe" has also done research and development of training and equipment for the Training Unit.
David has been a police officer for 16 years in Macomb County. A detective for over three years, with two years in the major crimes squad, and is familiar with the investigation and prosecution of violent crimes.
During his time as a detective, he investigated several shootings including officer involved shootings. David is a certified USCCA firearms instructor and NRA range officer. He has attended the Macomb Police Academy and has completed advanced combat pistol (also at the Macomb Police Academy) . He is currently in a supervisory position in the patrol division.

Brandon is an eight-year Marine Corps Veteran. He served three combat tours in Afghanistan as a rifleman and then as a Primary Marksmanship Instructor for four years at Marine Corps base in Quantico, VA. Brandon has trained over 25,000 government employees including newly commissioned USMC Officers, DEA, FBI and NRA groups. He was a leader in the re-development of the U.S. Marine Corps Advanced Pistol and Engaging Moving Targets Program policies. He is a certified Master Instructor for the Marine Corps and Combat marksmanship trainer/coach as well as a Certified DEA Firearms Instructor, Moving Target Engagement Instructor and Foreign Weapons Instructor and has attended various courses through FLETC, FBI and NRA.
Chris is a former U.S. Navy SEAL and Private Military Contractor (PMC) with over 15 years of operational experience. Chris served with SEAL Team 8 before being assigned to the Assault Cell, Naval Special Warfare Group II, as a Close Quarters Combat, Breaching and Urban Operations instructor. After a severe injury, Chris left the SEAL Teams to earn a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Concurrently, Chris worked for Blackwater on Covert & Clandestine projects as a Team Leader in their Tier 1 ‘SELECT’ Division and as the Director of Medical Operations for the combined DoD/DoS/Joint Special Operations Aviation Detachment (JSOAD) command structures in Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Chris’s collective field experiences as both a SEAL and a PMC include actions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Africa, Kosovo, and other Middle Eastern nations in support of the Global War on Terror.
Will, a U.S. Army veteran with 7 years of service, has deployed numerous times to Iraq and Afghanistan as an Airborne Infantryman, Designated Marksman/Observer and Psychological Operations Specialist with the 82nd Airborne Division, 75th Ranger Regiment, and 5th Special Forces Group. Since separating from the military in 2010, Will has run a training facility in Florida for a large munitions manufacturer where he has trained law enforcement, military and corrections personnel on tactics and techniques needed in high-threat environments. Will has also developed training programs for law enforcement snipers, SWAT entry teams, fighting from vehicles, and counter IED tactics. Will is also an NRA certified pistol, rifle, and shotgun instructor with extensive experience teaching concealed carry tactics, pistol/rifle transition and long range marksmanship.
