A CQT instructor in advanced handgun and hand-to-hand techniques, he is passionate about developing his students’ skills in real-world environments and scenarios.
Carl's career spans 30 years within the Military, including Special Operations and Tactical Law Enforcement in Global Operations & Training with a special focus on Counter-Terrorism procedures, operations and training. His training includes VIP Close Protection, intelligence gathering & analysis. He is also a firearms instructor, handling advanced pistol and carbine.
An Active Law Enforcement Officer for over 15 years, Jim has extensive law enforcement and US Military Special Operations experience.
Joseph (affectionately known as “Little Joe”) began his career in 1977 as a Protection Officer with the Federal Reserve Bank in Detroit. He spent six years as a Deputy Sheriff (Corrections Division) with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department. He has been a Police Officer since 1985 in an officer agency bordering Detroit, with extensive experience as a Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Directed Patrol Unit Member, Department Training Officer, SERT Team Leader/Operator, Detective (Narcotics/Vice/Surveillance) and Background Investigator. "Little Joe" has also done research and development of training and equipment for the Training Unit.
David has been a police officer for 16 years in Macomb County. A detective for over three years, with two years in the major crimes squad, and is familiar with the investigation and prosecution of violent crimes.
During his time as a detective, he investigated several shootings including officer involved shootings. David is a certified USCCA firearms instructor and NRA range officer. He has attended the Macomb Police Academy and has completed advanced combat pistol (also at the Macomb Police Academy) . He is currently in a supervisory position in the patrol division.

Brandon is an eight-year Marine Corps Veteran. He served three combat tours in Afghanistan as a rifleman and then as a Primary Marksmanship Instructor for four years at Marine Corps base in Quantico, VA. Brandon has trained over 25,000 government employees including newly commissioned USMC Officers, DEA, FBI and NRA groups. He was a leader in the re-development of the U.S. Marine Corps Advanced Pistol and Engaging Moving Targets Program policies. He is a certified Master Instructor for the Marine Corps and Combat marksmanship trainer/coach as well as a Certified DEA Firearms Instructor, Moving Target Engagement Instructor and Foreign Weapons Instructor and has attended various courses through FLETC, FBI and NRA.
Chris is a former U.S. Navy SEAL and Private Military Contractor (PMC) with over 15 years of operational experience. Chris served with SEAL Team 8 before being assigned to the Assault Cell, Naval Special Warfare Group II, as a Close Quarters Combat, Breaching and Urban Operations instructor. After a severe injury, Chris left the SEAL Teams to earn a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Concurrently, Chris worked for Blackwater on Covert & Clandestine projects as a Team Leader in their Tier 1 ‘SELECT’ Division and as the Director of Medical Operations for the combined DoD/DoS/Joint Special Operations Aviation Detachment (JSOAD) command structures in Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Chris’s collective field experiences as both a SEAL and a PMC include actions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Africa, Kosovo, and other Middle Eastern nations in support of the Global War on Terror.
Craig Pulvirenti is a 29 year police/swat officer. He has instructed in 5 police academies in the state of Michigan, 4 colleges, the US military as well as the US Department of Defense in Iraq. Craig is also a Vetted Lead Instructor for the US State Department (Anti Terrorism Assistance Program) and has worked 11 different countries.
Craig trained for WPPS (worldwide Personal Protection Service) 3 as well as Train the Trainer (T3) for WPPS 3.
Worked in Protective details since 1985 while in the US Army. This first training was provided by the US Department of State Diplomatic Security Service. During this period, Pulvirenti was assigned to protect the United State Army Europe Commander General Glen Otis. Opened a personal protection company in 1993 and have had dozens of clients including entertainers and dignitaries worldwide, in permissive and non-permissive environments.
in 1999, Pulvirenti was trained for active shooter response with Las Angeles Police, where he researched and developed the Michigan standard class for Police and Security Response to the active shooter. This program is instructed in 6 police academies in Michigan. Since 1999 Pulvirenti has researched, evaluated and instructed dozens of classes for Police Academies in the state of Michigan as well as the US State Department and US Department of Defense.
Craig’s personal company is responsible for training police, banks, schools, government and private industries in all areas from self defense and firearms, to administrative and risk management related training.
J.Ric Adrian started his career in 1990 when he joined the United States Army. He spent 17 years in many different units and roles covering everything from combat arms to aviation. His last position held was the Senior Firearms Instructor for the US Department of Homeland Security.
Jonathan W. Allen's career spans over 12 years within the Military, U.S. Secret Service and local Law Enforcement. During his time in the Military, he was a military Police Officer (USAF Security Forces). Mr. Allen operated in various field environments, performed individual and team patrol movements, tactical drills, battle procedures, convoys, military operations other than war (MOOTW) and anti-terrorism duties. While Mr. Allen was in the U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division, he provided protection to The President, Vice President, members of their immediate families and foreign heads of state. Mr. Allen received extensive training while with the Secret Service in multiple weapon systems, protection, driving and control tactics. He also assisted doing Threat Assessments and Site Surveys throughout the year at Diplomatic Missions, Embassies and Consulates in the greater DC Tri-State area. Mr. Allen is currently a Texas Peace Officer and serves on a 150 officer agency in the Patrol Division.
