Cancellation Policy

Close Quarters Tactical Registration Agreement, Policies & Liability Waiver By submitting a registration for any Close Quarters Tactical (CQT) course, class, or event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms, conditions, and policies. 1. Registration & Payment Submitting a registration form does not guarantee a reservation. You are not officially registered until full payment is received. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. CQT reserves the right to deny or cancel any registration at its discretion. Participants are responsible for providing accurate information and verifying class details. Confirmation will be sent once payment is received. 2. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy By registering, you agree to the following: No-Shows: Failure to attend without notice results in forfeiture of registration and payment. No reschedules or refunds. Cancellations 14+ Days: Eligible for a full refund if notice is given at least 14 days prior. Cancellations 14–3 Days: Not eligible for monetary refund but may reschedule to a future available class. Late Changes (48 hours): Course dates may be switched up to 48 hours prior, subject to availability. Rescheduling Limit: Each registration may be rescheduled once only. All requests must be submitted in writing via email. 3. Media Release & Photography Policy CQT may photograph or record classes for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes. Participants will be asked at class start if they wish to opt out, or may opt out by contacting mckayla.carlson@cqtusa.com prior to or during the event. If media is posted before an opt-out request, CQT is not liable for removal on third-party platforms but will update its own materials. By participating, you grant CQT permission to use your likeness unless you explicitly opt out. 4. Assumption of Risk CQT training involves physically demanding activities, including defensive tactics, firearms handling, physical contact, and simulated real-world scenarios. Participation carries inherent risks, including injury, illness, or property damage. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation. 5. Waiver & Release of Liability You release, waive, and hold harmless CQT, its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation, including those resulting from ordinary negligence.
