Service Description

The Combatives program provides ongoing, practical training in defensive tactics for real-world scenarios. Designed for individuals aged 15 and up, these sessions focus on building adaptable skills through striking, grappling, and weapons awareness, all in a safe and controlled environment. Unlike traditional martial arts or fitness programs, Combatives emphasizes realistic encounters and problem-solving under stress. Each class introduces new techniques, ensuring that participants develop a diverse and functional skill set over time. This approach allows students to adapt to dynamic situations, whether defending themselves against unarmed attackers or responding to threats involving weapons. Training includes fundamentals in boxing, kickboxing, and grappling, as well as clinch work and jiu-jitsu concepts. Students learn practical defenses and counters for knives, pens, flashlights, and other improvised weapons, while also developing retention and disarm techniques. Scenario-based drills are integrated to reinforce decision-making, situational awareness, and tactical thinking under pressure. Sessions are structured to allow students of all levels to progress at their own pace while maintaining a focus on safety, technique, and real-world applicability. Drop-in and membership options make it easy to consistently practice and reinforce skills.
