Service Description

Carbine 3 is an advanced, high round-count course designed for experienced shooters ready to push their performance through complex drills and elevated tempo training. This eight-hour class builds on the foundation established in Carbine 1 and Carbine 2, challenging students with more demanding shooting problems that require efficiency, adaptability, and composure under stress. The focus shifts from learning mechanics to refining them at speed and under pressure. Students will engage in advanced rifle drills that emphasize recoil control, rapid target acquisition, and accountability at higher speeds. Structured stress-shooting evolutions are incorporated to test consistency and decision-making while managing time and performance standards. A key component of Carbine 3 is rifle-to-handgun transitions. Students will learn when and how to efficiently transition platforms while maintaining awareness, muzzle discipline, and control. High-speed reloads and manipulation drills reinforce smooth, economical movement under increased demand. Tactical positioning and movement are integrated throughout the course, encouraging students to think critically about angles, exposure, and efficiency. Drills are designed to expose inefficiencies and refine performance through repetition and instructor feedback. This is a physically and mentally demanding course intended for students who are prepared to train at a higher intensity level. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Carbine 2 Skills Covered: Advanced rifle drills and stress shooting Rifle-to-handgun transitions High-speed accuracy and reloads Tactical positioning and dynamic movement Required Gear: Semi-auto rifle (personal or rental) Handgun (personal or rental) Sling Minimum 2 rifle magazines Magazine pouch Holster 2 snap caps Minimum 250 rounds rifle ammunition Minimum 100 rounds handgun ammunition Eye and ear protection Appropriate training apparel If you have questions about equipment setup or readiness for this course, our instructors can help ensure you’re properly prepared.
