Service Description

Our CPL Renewal class is designed specifically for current Michigan CPL holders who need to complete their renewal requirement while sharpening the skills and knowledge that matter most. This course goes beyond simply checking a box. We provide a structured refresher that reinforces safe firearm handling, responsible concealed carry practices, and current Michigan legal updates so you leave confident, competent, and compliant. You’ll spend time both in the classroom and on the range. In the classroom portion, we review updated Michigan concealed carry laws, use-of-force considerations, and practical carry scenarios. On the range, students will reinforce marksmanship fundamentals and safe gun handling under instructor supervision. Whether you carry daily or periodically, this renewal course ensures your foundation remains strong and aligned with current state requirements. What to Expect: Review of current Michigan CPL laws and updates Discussion of concealed carry considerations and responsibilities Reinforcement of firearm safety and marksmanship fundamentals Live-fire range qualification Requirements: Minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition Eye and ear protection (not provided; available for purchase in the pro-shop) Firearm (rentals available in the pro-shop) If you do not have your own firearm, rentals are available. Ammunition, eye protection, and ear protection can be purchased in the pro-shop. We recommend calling ahead to confirm your caliber is in stock. This course meets Michigan CPL renewal requirements while prioritizing safety, professionalism, and practical skill reinforcement. Cancellation Policy

Close Quarters Tactical Registration Agreement, Policies & Liability Waiver By submitting a registration for any Close Quarters Tactical (CQT) course, class, or event, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following terms and policies. Registration & Payment Submitting a registration does not guarantee a reservation. You are not officially registered until full payment is received. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. CQT reserves the right to deny or cancel any registration at its discretion. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy No-shows will not be eligible for refunds or rescheduling. Cancellations made at least fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled class date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made between fourteen (14) and three (3) days prior to the class are not eligible for a monetary refund but may be rescheduled to a future available class. Course dates may be changed up to forty-eight (48) hours prior to the class start time, subject to availability. Each registration may be rescheduled once. All cancellation or reschedule requests must be submitted in writing. Media Release CQT may photograph or record classes for marketing, educational, or promotional purposes. Participants will be given the opportunity to opt out at the start of the class or by contacting mckayla.carlson@cqtusa.com prior to, during, or after the event. CQT is not liable for removing media published prior to an opt-out request but will make reasonable efforts to update content on CQT-controlled platforms. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver Participation in CQT training involves physically demanding activities and inherent risks, including injury, illness, or property damage. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and release, waive, and hold harmless Close Quarters Tactical, its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, and affiliates from any claims or liabilities arising from participation, including those resulting from ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Medical Acknowledgment & Acceptance You certify that you are physically and mentally capable of participating and agree to inform instructors of any limitations. By submitting your registration, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age (or have guardian consent), understand this agreement, and voluntarily accept all terms and conditions stated above.
