Service Description
The Dignitary | Executive Protection course is a 5-day, 40-hour program designed to teach personnel the fundamentals and advanced techniques of close protection. This training is ideal for individuals assigned to security or law enforcement roles responsible for safeguarding executives, dignitaries, or high-profile personnel. Students will learn advanced surveys and threat assessment, including how to evaluate locations, routes, and venues for potential risks. The course covers close-in protection techniques, emphasizing maintaining safety while operating in proximity to clients and bystanders. Firearms handling is integrated with close protection scenarios, including shooting in confined or crowded environments, while maintaining situational awareness and minimizing risk to protected persons. Officers will also learn defensive tactics appropriate for protecting clients against physical threats. Training includes caravan and precision driving techniques, highlighting methods for secure transport of personnel during high-risk situations. Students will explore differences between government and corporate protection styles, allowing them to adapt strategies to varied operational environments. Through practical exercises, students gain a comprehensive understanding of personal protection principles, team coordination, and risk management. By the end of the course, graduates will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to perform as effective members of a close protection team, capable of responding to threats and ensuring the safety of their principals. Cancellation Policy
Close Quarters Tactical Registration Agreement, Policies & Liability Waiver By submitting a registration for any Close Quarters Tactical (CQT) course, class, or event, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following terms and policies. Registration & Payment Submitting a registration does not guarantee a reservation. You are not officially registered until full payment is received. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. CQT reserves the right to deny or cancel any registration at its discretion. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy No-shows will not be eligible for refunds or rescheduling. Cancellations made at least fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled class date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made between fourteen (14) and three (3) days prior to the class are not eligible for a monetary refund but may be rescheduled to a future available class. Course dates may be changed up to forty-eight (48) hours prior to the class start time, subject to availability. Each registration may be rescheduled once. All cancellation or reschedule requests must be submitted in writing. Media Release CQT may photograph or record classes for marketing, educational, or promotional purposes. Participants will be given the opportunity to opt out at the start of the class or by contacting mckayla.carlson@cqtusa.com prior to, during, or after the event. CQT is not liable for removing media published prior to an opt-out request but will make reasonable efforts to update content on CQT-controlled platforms. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver Participation in CQT training involves physically demanding activities and inherent risks, including injury, illness, or property damage. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and release, waive, and hold harmless Close Quarters Tactical, its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, and affiliates from any claims or liabilities arising from participation, including those resulting from ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Medical Acknowledgment & Acceptance You certify that you are physically and mentally capable of participating and agree to inform instructors of any limitations. By submitting your registration, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age (or have guardian consent), understand this agreement, and voluntarily accept all terms and conditions stated above.
