Youth Firearm Safety Private Lessons provide a structured, age-appropriate introduction to safe firearm handling in a controlled and professional environment. This 2½-hour private session is designed to teach young students the fundamentals of firearm safety, responsibility, and proper handling through clear instruction and hands-on learning. Our goal is to build safe habits, confidence, and respect for firearms from the very beginning. Instruction begins with core firearm safety fundamentals, ensuring students understand safe handling rules, muzzle discipline, and proper supervision expectations. From there, students learn how to safely load and unload a firearm, identify and address common malfunctions, and understand the importance of awareness and responsibility at all times. Students are also introduced to different types of firearms, including both handguns and rifles, along with an overview of various types of ammunition. Instructors explain how firearms function in simple, age-appropriate terms, allowing students to gain understanding without feeling overwhelmed. Hands-on instruction reinforces learning in a controlled setting with direct instructor guidance. Emphasis is placed on patience, discipline, and positive reinforcement to ensure students feel comfortable and supported throughout the lesson. This private format allows instructors to tailor the pace and depth of instruction to the student’s maturity level and prior exposure. Whether your child is brand new to firearms or looking to strengthen foundational knowledge, this lesson prioritizes safety above all else.
